Hello! I’m Amy Fess. I’m an actor working and living in New York City.

On the outside, I’m a lovable goofball, cute and approachable.

But on the inside, I’m sitting on the fact that I could beat just about anyone in a fight.

I’m a hardworking and dedicated actor, singer, writer, host, improviser, producer, and comedian originally from Rochester, ny. I went to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City with dreams of following my musical theatre roots, but along the way I found that I also loved the world of Film and Television. I’m upbeat and positive, and love all things nerdy, sci-fi, and post-apocalyptic. Though i have a big, comedic personality, and an extensive comedy improv background, I do often find myself drawn towards the dramatic, grounded roles.

I identify as Pansexual and am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ Community. I use She/They pronouns.

I am a black belt in isshinryu Karate, and am trained in the use of bo staff, sai, and nunchuck. I studied karate for the majority of my school years, and can pack a punch to this day. even though I have an innocent, baby face, I know I’m a badass underneath.

I strongly believe in creating content that shines a light on non-traditional areas of life. I want to see and celebrate people and relationships that fall outside of the traditional norm. I want to uplift people of all body types, gender identities, and sexualities. I want to tell stories about non-monogamy that works for all parties involved. I want to show the world that you can be yourself unashamedly, and that no matter who you are, you will find your people who love you how you are and see things the same way you do.

“Gentle breath of yours my sails

Must fill,

or else my project fails,

Which was to please. Now I want

Spirits to enforce, art to enchant,

And my ending is despair,

Unless I be relieved by prayer,

Which pierces so that it assaults

Mercy itself, and frees all faults.

As you from crimes would

pardoned be,

Let your indulgence set me free.”

- Prospero, The Tempest, Act V

I know that the key to success is hard work, resilience, and kindness. I have embodied those principles all of my life. I am absolutely dedicated to my craft, and to telling stories, and I will always be. I bring a ray of sunshine to every set I walk on to, and aim to make everyone feel supported and included. I will go to the ends of the earth to make things happen that I believe in. I look to surround myself with a community of likeminded artists who help one another whenever they need it. I will continue to put 110% into everything that I do, and I eagerly await the day the rest of the world gets to see who I am.

Much love,

Amy!
